Community Programs Bismarck

Representative Payee Services are provided to individuals needing support and guidance with money management.  The Representative Payee Program assists clients to remain independent by coordinating the payment of their bills/rent.  This is a fee for service program.  Call 701-223-4517 for more information.

Community Mental Health Technicians/Case Aides provide assistance to adult mentally ill and/or chemically dependent individuals that live independently.  The aide encourages healthy independent living by providing guidance and teaching life skills.  They provide training in daily living skills, medication compliance, social recreational and transportation for clinic and doctor appointments. 

Medication Monitoring provides medication distribution and in-home monitoring to persons living independently in the community. Medications may be delivered twice daily or weekly depending on the needs of the individual. 

Youth Mentor Program/Family Support Program provides an integrated experience for youth in the community to enhance the social and behavorial needs of the youth. Services are provided based on the Wraparound philosphy and an individualized plan with safe and nuturing activities.

Bis-Man Mentor Squad is a volunteer based mentoring program.  Youth are matched with an adult volunteer to assist with their social and behavior needs.  Call 701-222-0797 or check us out at bismanmentorsquad.com

Transportation Services provides rides M-F to clients served by the regional human service center. Rides may be given within the communities of Bismarck-Mandan for persons needing to get to group, clinic and doctor appointments when other local transportation arrangements cannot be obtained. Dacotah Learning/Recovery Center & Peer Support is an activity center for adults with mental illness to obtain social and rehabilitation support.  The Peer Support matches adult individuals who are in recovery with other adult assisting them toward recovery.
